ABOUT
OUR VISION
To help Mornington Peninsula thrive where people, place, and economy grow stronger together through regenerative learning, practice, and intergenerational co-evolving with place.
We are creating one of the first bioregional Living Lab ecosystems in Australia, integrating land, sea, food, culture, enterprise, and community capability.
STORYING PLACE
Our foundational framework - Storying Place, developed and trademarked by the Regenesis Institute.
It teaches us to see the deeper geological, ecological, cultural, spiritual, social, and economic patterns that shape our bioregion.
It is not a program, it is a way of seeing and becoming.
It forms the backbone of our shared understanding, collaboration, and long-term regenerative capability.
This regenerative change cycle guides how people see, understand and contribute to the living systems in which we flourish.
OUR BIOREGIONAL ARCHITECTURE
Our work brings together four connected areas that support lastingchange across the Mornington Peninsula.
There are four layers that support long-term transformation:
Foundational capability
Storying Place, regenerative design, human development & leadership
Organisational pillars
Learning Centre, Finance Facility, Commons, Regen MP resourcing
Demonstration
Escarpment Roundtable, carbon cycle composting, food systems, tourism, enterprise, Living Labs
Global exchange
Regenesis Institute, Design School for Regenerating Earth, R3.0, UNESCO Biosphere, education partners
“Regeneration is about aligning human systems with the intelligence of living systems.”
